Then Loki Render was made for you.  It’s a stripped-down version of Loki which works seamlessly with Phoenix's new ‘Send to Loki’ export button, to offload render tasks to a remote machine and free up your workstation for the next project.

Here's how it works ALONGSIDE PHOENIX

(v. 2025.3 onwards)

  1. Install Loki Render on a spare machine on the same network as your Phoenix installation
  2. Set up Loki Render export presets in the simple browser UI
  3. Hit the new Send to Loki button in Phoenix and Loki Render processes the render job
  4. Loki silently recognises whichever DVOs you’ve used in your Phoenix project without needing any additional DVO licences
  5. Now your Phoenix workstation is freed up, ready to get on with the next job
  6. Monitor job completion in the Loki Render browser.
