Loki Render has been a really useful addition to our workflow. Being able to send renders from our Client workstations to a dedicated machine means our grading and restoration systems remain available for creative work rather than being tied up processing.

Once configured, it is straightforward to use, and being able to offload demanding Phoenix renders, including DVO processing, to a dedicated machine has made much better use of both our systems and our operators’ time.

Here's how it works ALONGSIDE PHOENIX

(v. 2025.3 onwards)

  1. Install Loki Render on a spare machine on the same network as your Phoenix installation
  2. Set up Loki Render export presets in the simple browser UI
  3. Hit the new Send to Loki button in Phoenix and Loki Render processes the render job
  4. Loki silently recognises whichever DVOs you’ve used in your Phoenix project without needing any additional DVO licences
  5. Now your Phoenix workstation is freed up, ready to get on with the next job
  6. Monitor job completion in the Loki Render browser.
